Irrational Irritation

Thanksgiving in my family developed a tradition when I was in high school: we'd watch the National Dog Show. Yes, yes, it took forever. Yes, we ignored the Toy Group (we're big dog people). And we tried not to praise the pups too much so as not to hurt Asia's feelings.
See how beautiful she was?
We had to protect her ego.
Anyway, onto the irritation.
It didn't take long, but the dog show eventually became popularized and shown right after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (my sister's personal favorite). With that, however, they started editing down the dogs they'd show for time's sake.
Oh, they parade them all out and introduce them all, but typically we only get to see the judging of the ones that the judge pulls out before he/she picks the final four.
And since the Malamute is ALWAYS skipped, this is a crime.
LOOK AT HER! Don't you think she deserved her time in the limelight?
So now I don't get to see them all and it makes me sad. Especially because they also edit down the commentators so they'll reference breeds WE didn't get to see.
Jerks.
